Anthony Summers
There are two new articles in which Summers claims he is a friend of Pat Newcomb. I know this to be true because I am very close friends with Pat; she told me a lot about that night. She even talked to me about Summers. She will be upset when I tell her about this article.
She said she didn't want him talking about her, and he did. She asked him not to mention her name in any articles, yet he said some negative things about her in these two articles this week. This is what he said in the articles:
"However, he reveals that one of her (Marilyn Monroe) surviving friends knows the secret behind her last moments. Monroe's former press agent, Pat Newcomb, can reportedly answer the lingering questions about her death, per Summers.
And, He said: "She (Newcomb) has always been courteous - yet told me little or nothing at all about the actress's relationship with the Kennedys and the events of her last hours. Newcomb has said two things, one, that my book gets things about right, and two, that she herself has 'forgotten' the details."

Private Investigator Paul Barresi
This man is horrible. I would never turn on my client. Amber should contact the BSIS and file a complaint. She should also sue him. To say Johnny Depp is like an angel is way off. I like Depp as an actor, but he has some serious drug and alcohol issues. I saw those videos and that was no angel. This man doesn't even have a valid P.I license. It was revoked.

PIs and Hacking: The Lines You Can’t Cross
PIs are very familiar with hunting down online information about specific people. That involves a lot of different strategies – from using subscription databases to creating fake social media profiles. Jobs may also involve trying to recover emails, photos, or data from hard drives.
But, as always, it’s important to avoid the risk of breaking the law, especially when it comes to hacking rules and stealing personal information. We’ve discussed before how PIs may unintentionally commit fraud when impersonating people online, and now we’d like to take a closer look at the rules involving data theft. You certainly don’t want to get prison time for hacking a hedge fund! So, let’s take a look at hacking lines private investigators shouldn’t cross.
Don’t Try Forensics on a Personal Computer
Computer forensics is an important skill for private investigators, but only if they have permission from the owner of a computer or are using legal channels on their own device. A PI can’t just pick up a personal computer and start going through its files, even if it’s open and logged in – that’s still illegal. There’s some fuzzy gray area with things like “shared” computers that multiple people use, but it’s still a good idea to be careful. In many cases, a PI can work with an attorney to seek a subpoena for the device instead.
Don’t Try to Access a Social Media Account that Doesn’t Belong to You
Private investigators often create accounts on social media to look for public information, or to specifically request information from others. That’s very different from trying to log into someone else’s social media account to access their data. That’s illegal, even if you run across a device or login information that you could use.
Remember, there are still lots of possibilities on social media without direct access to an account. Simply using the metadata on public photos can be useful in an investigation.
Don’t Access Credit Data Without Permission
With the right information, a PI could potentially order a credit report on someone, which has many uses for a variety of investigations. There’s just one problem – even though it’s not technically hacking, it is illegal. The only way you can legally access credit reports like this is with specific permission given by the person.
Don’t Access Transaction Histories or Other Account-Specific Information
If financial account login information falls into the hands a PI, it should never directly be used. Accessing transaction histories or other important account information is illegal, even if it might be very useful for your case. As we mentioned above, PIs do play an important role in revealing this information, they just can’t do it themselves. Instead, private investigators should create a report showing that the account exists, who is ultimately in charge of it, and what pertinent information the financial account contains for the case. This can be used to get a subpoena to legally access account data without crossing any lines.
Don’t Spy Via Wi-Fi Connection
Vulnerable Wi-Fi networks, especially in public locations where PIs may be tailing someone, can be hacked with “Man in the Middle” and similar attacks. These allow a hacker to spy on data that’s being sent out by a particular mobile device, which can yield a variety of private data and login information. While PIs may be able to think of many ways to put that data to use, it’s very illegal. This is clear black hat activity and can easily result in jail time. Keep your monitoring to clear, legal methods in public areas.
Never Try to Hack a Password
Account passwords can sometimes be found by brute-force hacking attempts with software that’s relatively easy to find online. First, if you have to download hacking software from an unsavory website, you’re already on the wrong track. Second, gaining account access like this is illegal in every sense, and PIs should never try it. Sometimes TV shows or books make it look like hacking login information like this is a legitimate option, but in the real-world private data is protected by a number of important laws.
Oh, and Don’t Hire a Hacker Either
Hiring a hacker instead of hacking yourself doesn’t remove any liability. You’re still gaining information in illegal ways, and now someone else is involved. That could lead to even worse charges for a PI caught hiring a hacker. That’s also something to keep in mind when subcontracting work out to other PIs – you don’t want them using anything close to illegal methods to access data, or you could also be held responsible.
Final Thoughts
If you ever have doubts about accessing data for a job, remember you don’t have to make an immediate decision. One of the best ways to reduce your liability is to take a step back, and take time to review national and state laws about data theft, data privacy, and what’s illegal. The more information you have, the easier it will be to avoid crossing the line and risk fines or even jail time.

The MPA did it again!
Netflix’s Marilyn Monroe Movie Gets Rare NC-17 Rating for Sexual Content
The MPAA has given the biopic 'Blonde,' starring Ana de Armas as the celebrity icon, an adults-only rating.
Netflix’s Marilyn Monroe biopic officially has an NC-17 rating.
Blonde, which stars Ana de Armas (Deep Water) as the iconic actress and pinup model, was given the rare adults-only rating for “some sexual content” by the Motion Picture Association on Wednesday.
Director Andrew Dominik previously predicted the film, which is based on Joyce Carol Oates’ novel, would get an NC-17, defiantly telling Screen Daily in February: “It’s a demanding movie. If the audience doesn’t like it, that’s the fucking audience’s problem. It’s not running for public office. It’s an NC-17 movie about Marilyn Monroe, it’s kind of what you want, right? I want to go and see the NC-17 version of the Marilyn Monroe story.”
The director also said Netflix “insisted” on hiring editor Jennifer Lame (Tenet) “to curb the excesses of the movie,” which includes a rape scene that was also in Oates’ book.
Oates’ acclaimed 2000 novel is a 700-page fictionalized take on Monroe’s life, which The New Yorker once dubbed “the definitive study of American celebrity.”
Netflix has previously streamed NC-17 movies produced by other studios (such as 2013’s Blue Is the Warmest Color), but Blonde seemingly marks the first movie produced by Netflix to receive the hard-core rating.
Dominik has expressed appreciation for Netflix’s support, noting, “It’s much easier to support stuff when you like it. It’s much harder when you don’t. I have nothing but gratitude for Netflix.”
Blonde co-stars Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale and Julianne Nicholson. The film was originally rumored to premiere in May outside of competition at Cannes, but reportedly is no longer expected during the festival. If Blonde does open in theaters before moving to streaming, the NC-17 label could be an obstacle for some cinemas that have been reluctant to play films with that rating in the past. However, Netflix often relies on smaller indie chains that may not have the same objections, so it isn’t as significant as if it were a major studio release relying on a wide break. In any case, Netflix has not officially announced any release plan or date as of yet.

Jasmine Chiswell
I have been reading articles about this lady for over a year now saying that she looks just like Marilyn Monroe. My god, this woman doesn't look anything like MM. She is too skinny on the face and she looks fake. I see women all the time who want to be MM, and who think they look like MM. As a matter of fact, Khole Kardashian just recently compared herself to Marilyn. Really Khole! Not even close. Maybe I am being hard on people because I think Marilyn was beautiful and I have yet to see anyone even close to that beauty. Sorry, Jasmine - not even close!

New Mexico Animal Abuse
UPDATE: NO ONE HAS DONE ANYTHING OR CALLED ME BACK!
Letter to City and County Authorities in Las Cruces/Dona Ana County-
I made a call to animal control yesterday about animal neglect/abuse. He did not give me a phone number to call him back, or I would tell him what I'm telling you. I'm upset because he said the residents are updated with the county ordinance.
That is not true! I have been at this residence several times serving papers, and every time I go there, the dogs have green water, no water, no food, and nothing to keep them warm. The dogs were freezing when I was there yesterday, and didn't even have some blanket in the dog houses to keep them warm. I called yesterday, and no one went out until today, giving the owner time to provide clean water and food and unbury the dog houses. Personally, I think they are breeding dogs, which really angers me. Why didn't they go out yesterday when I called?
I made a mistake by telling the owners I just called animal control, which gave them time to cover what I say is abuse! How is having a dog house buried in the dirt and the rain going into the dog house up to date?
These dogs are in this condition 24/7, and he tells me they are in ordinance? You look at these photos and tell me it is okay. We need someone else in your job to take over if you think this is okay with you. I cried all the way home, knowing these poor animals were being treated like this. Even the damn chickens didn't have protection.
I am a private investigator serving papers around Southern New Mexico. I see many cases of animal abuse and neglect. I see dogs lucky enough to have 10 feet of chain to walk around, with no shelter and sometimes no water. This isn't very easy for me to see. I've investigated animal abuse for over twenty years in California and New Mexico.
I report animal abuse when I see it, and I go back to where I observed the violence during different times of the day, and nothing has been changed. These same animals are chained or locked up in the same place 24/7, and you are telling me this is okay? That's INSANE if you do!
The laws in New Mexico are still neglecting our job as humans to protect them, such as a lack of safeguarding animals being left in a hot cars. We have no laws against animal fighting paraphernalia, and a Veterinary doesn't need to report animal cruelty, no law supporting post-conviction possession bans, no law prohibiting the sexual assault of animals.
Dogs are naturally social beings who need interaction with humans and other animals. Intensive confinement or long-term restraint can severely damage their physical and psychological well-being. When kept continuously chained or intensively confined in any way, an otherwise friendly and docile dog becomes neurotic, unhappy, anxious, and often aggressive.
It is common for continuously tethered dogs to endure physical ailments as a result of being continuously tethered. Their necks can become raw and sore, and their collars can painfully grow into their skin. They are vulnerable to insect bites and parasites and are at high risk of entanglement, strangulation, harassment, or attacks by other dogs or people.
Tethered dogs may suffer from irregular feedings, overturned water bowls, inadequate veterinary care, and extreme temperatures. During snowstorms, these dogs often have no access to shelter. During periods of extreme heat, they may not receive adequate water or protection from the sun. Owners who chain their dogs are less likely to clean the confinement area, causing them to eat and sleep in an area contaminated with urine and feces.
Since becoming a private investigator and serving papers, I have seen this myself many times. Moreover, because their often neurotic behavior makes them difficult to approach, chained dogs rarely give minimal affection. Tethered dogs may become "part of the scenery" and can be easily ignored by their owners.
Dogs tethered for long periods can become highly aggressive. Dogs feel naturally protective of their territory; they respond according to their fight-or-flight instinct when confronted with a perceived threat. A tied dog, unable to take flight, resorts to fighting, attacking any unfamiliar animal or person who unwittingly wanders into their territory.
Please pass a law that animals are required to have shelter from the sun and rain. Please change the law, so horses and other animals have a larger area to live. It makes me sick and saddens me when I see animals being mistreated.
I don't think most people know this type of behavior, and neglect happens because they close their eyes to it or don't care. It seems like these abused animals are only being used to bark, so the owner knows when someone comes onto the property. These people don't care about their animals. No one should be allowed to have animals if they are going to mistreat them.
Dogs are supposed to be part of the family, live indoors, receive regular exercise, and provide adequate attention, food, water, and veterinary care.
My vision is that all animals are treated with dignity, respect, and live free from cruelty, harm, and neglect. Simple acts of awareness and compassion can save the lives of countless animals in need. I reached out to the Sheriff Kim and the Governor last year, only to be ignored. I know the Sheriff is running for her second term, and I will be reaching out to Captain James Frietze to see what he will be doing regarding animal laws here. I have started a Facebook page and my blog to expose animal abuse here in NM. I take photos, and I post them on my sites. I will start creating videos on my youtube account, and I will make sure my voice is heard until something changes.
New Mexico Animal Abuse Facebook
According to code enforcement on the web, it said
The shelter for your pet requires 3 sides, a roof, and an elevated floor. The shelter should also be weather resistant.
So, how are they in ordnance if the animals don’t have this? There were other dogs that I didn't take photos of. I will be going back to check on these animals again. This is not dirt, it is sand so when it rains, the water will go into these houses and the animals have no escape. The dog house to the left with the pool has his dog house buried under the sand. I thought I got the photo, but I didn’t. I will be going back to obtain more photos. The white pole is used to poke
at the dogs. Ive seen it and it was against the Chihuahua’s cage.
The chickens did'nt have any housing at all. They have one small piece of wood and that was it.

Private Investigator and TV Personality Craig Case Accused of Conspiracy and Fraud
Craig A. Case, a Santa Barbara private investigator and television personality, stands accused of defrauding an elderly Montecito resident of nearly $700,000, new court documents show. Case did not challenge or even respond to the lawsuit filed September 7 on behalf of 94-year-old Constance McCormick Fearing, a longtime friend of his and a noted patron of the arts.
The court, therefore, entered a default against Case on October 13, explained Jordan Hankey, the attorney for her trust, and a judge will next decide exactly how much Case must pay. The funds he allegedly obtained from Fearing through “willful and deliberate misconduct” between October 2018 and April 2021 totaled $687,500, the complaint states, and her trust will also pursue punitive damages as well as attorney’s fees, Hankey said.

Whether Case is criminally prosecuted remains to be seen. The Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office declined to comment for this story. Multiple voicemails were left with Case Detective Agency, the investigations, and private security company Case has operated since the 1970s, went unreturned. His attorney, Josh Lynn, also declined to comment.
The civil suit was originally filed against both Case and Nancy Coglizer, a former trustee of Fearing’s estate with power of attorney over her affairs. Coglizer has since lodged her own cross-complaint against Case, alleging he manipulated and used her to obtain dozens of “short-term loans” for himself with Fearing’s funds while Coglizer was in a compromised mental state.
According to Coglizer’s complaint, she started working for Fearing back in 1999 by performing basic bookkeeping duties. They would meet regularly in Fearing’s library, and Coglizer soon began assisting Fearing with more involved property management tasks. In 2004, Fearing suffered a serious medical issue that necessitated more direct attention to her personal and financial affairs, and Fearing’s lawyers ultimately named Coglizer as a trustee of her living trust.
The arrangement continued uneventfully until March 2018, when Coglizer’s mother, with whom she was extremely close, suddenly died. The death sent her into a tailspin of severe depression and alcoholism, and “she began withdrawing from life,” her cross-complaint states. Case, who had known Fearing for many years and had periodically provided security for her rural Romero Canyon property, learned of Coglizer’s loss and started inviting her out for drinks to “talk about how she was trying to cope with her extreme sadness,” the filing says.
Those conversations, however, would frequently end with Case asking for money, which Coglizer obliged with checks from Fearing’s accounts. “Her mind was weak, foggy, and jumbled,” the court documents claim. “She could barely function.” No clear reason is provided for why Coglizer continually acquiesced. But her complaint emphasized that she “did not benefit in any way, whatsoever, from the loans.” She never received any of the money herself, it states, and always assumed Case would pay her back based on his lengthy friendship with Fearing.
Coglizer eventually entered an addiction treatment facility. When she exited, she started pressing Case to make good on the loans. He’d promise “soon” and tout supposed investments in his self-produced television shows, including The Inn Crowd, a food- and wine-focused series. But Case’s callbacks began dwindling. Then they ceased altogether. Panicked and contrite, Coglizer notified Fearing’s attorneys of the missing money. She was asked to resign from the trust but continues to cooperate in its complaint against Case.
Meanwhile, Case remains an active member of the Santa Barbara community with a current position on the Santa Barbara Police Foundation’s board of directors. He previously served on Santa Barbara City College’s board of directors, as president of the United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County, and as chairman of the City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Commission. His private investigator’s license is up to date, and he was spotted doing business at a State Street bank earlier this month.
Case, it turns out, has a long history of alleged financial chicanery, going as far back as 1990 when he was at the center of an investment controversy that sank Santa Barbara’s former semi-professional basketball team, the Islanders. More recently, he has been sued by no fewer than six clients who paid him upward of $5,000 each to perform private investigations that were never conducted. Multiple liens remain stacked against his name.
In 2016, Case was forced by a class-action lawsuit to pay $80,000 to two dozen of his former security company employees. He’d violated labor laws by denying them breaks, not recognizing them over time, and not reimbursing them for business expenses, the settlement agreement shows. In 2017, a judge ordered Case to cut Everest National Insurance Company a $42,000 check after he failed to pay the premiums on a worker’s comp policy. Then in 2018, the California Labor Commissioner’s Office demanded he forks over another $25,000 to a separate former employee. Case had reportedly deducted state, federal, and social security taxes from the employee’s paychecks, but rather than pay the necessary government agencies, he would simply pocket the money himself, court documents show.
Legal records also reveal a pattern of Case borrowing money that he didn’t return. Prolific Santa Barbara landlord Dario Pini loaned Case $10,000 in 2016, then took him to court when Case only paid him back half. In 2019, Case borrowed $50,000 from winemaker Roger Bower and again found himself on the court docket when the loan was not repaid. A source with knowledge of the incident also claimed longtime Central Coast wine aficionado Archie McLaren lent Case $40,000 that he never saw again. McLaren had given up trying to collect by the time he died in 2018, the source said.

Ben Affleck Says He'd 'Probably Still Be Drinking' If He Stayed Married to Jennifer Garner
Ben, you are the typical alcoholic who wants to blame someone else for your behavior. Grow up Ben and take responsibility for your own actions. Don't blame someone else for your weakness. You are not done drinking because you will never stay sober until you accept your problem, instead of blaming someone else!
I personally will never watch a movie with him again!

Get the dog or cat instead of the scam
Associate Director, Division of Consumer and Business Education, FTC
This has been National Adoption Week for pets, and by now, thousands of dogs and cats might have new homes in the hearts of many thousands of people. But as the holidays approach, scammers know that families are hearing about their kids’ NEED for a dog or cat. And scammers are ready to take advantage by offering up that perfect pet — for a fee. You’ll find ads offering litters of puppies, especially, on websites and listservs online. But once you pay, your supposed pet and the “breeder” will vanish, along with your cash. Here are ways to spot those puppy and pet scammers and stop them in their tracks.
- Start with a local rescue or animal shelter. A quick online search will point you to them, where you’ll be able to adopt for a small fee. There are even rescues for specific breeds, so check them out, too.
- Check out the rescue, shelter, or breeder. Search online for their name, plus words like “complaint” or “scam.” See what others have to say about them.
- Check out the photos. Are the pics of the available cute puppies and kitties just stock pictures? Or are they copies taken from somewhere else? Do a reverse image search to see. If they’re either, move on.
- Have an in-person or video visit. Legit rescues, shelters, and breeders alike want to make sure you and your new pet are a good match. They’ll encourage an in-person or video meeting. If they don’t want you to visit, video chat, or even talk by phone, move on to someone else.
- Watch how you’re asked to pay. Nobody legit will ever require you to pay by gift card, wire transfer service like MoneyGram or Western Union, or cryptocurrency. And paying by cash transfer services, like Venmo, makes it hard to get your money back. So stick with a credit card, if you have one, for the most protection if something goes wrong.
If you spot one of these scams, tell the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. All the cats and dogs of the FTC wish you well in adding a new family member to your home.

Ambulance Report
According to Ambulance Report, on The evening of August 4, 1962, James Hall and his partner, Murray Liebowitz, were returning to the UCLA Medical Center When they received an emergency call to 12305 fifth Helena Drive. Hall recalled, “ we were real close practically right around the corner. We were at her within two minutes.” When they arrived a hysterical woman led them to a small guest cottage, separate from the main house, Where they found Marilyn Monroe lying nude face up on the bed. Her respiration and heartbeat were slight; her pulse was weak and rapid. Because CPR requires strong back support, Hall and Liebowitz moved Monroe from the bed to the floor of an adjoining foyer and, placing an airway tube to facilitate breathing, they began resuscitation. Hall recalled, “ the Hysterical woman was giving us trouble. She was trying to climb over us to get to Miss Monroe while I was working on her. She was Screaming She's Dead! She's Dead! Over and over again…. She was hampering what we were doing, but I don't think even a slap on her face would have calm her down-she was that crazy.” “Soon I was getting a perfect exchange of air from Miss Monroe,” “ Her color was starting to come back. I felt she was doing well enough that we could safely take her to the Hospital. I said to Murray “get the gurney.” At that moment a man carrying a doctor's bag entered the guest cottage and said, “ I'm her doctor. Give her positive pressure.” Hall was surprised by the doctor's decision because the resuscitator was doing its job. “ But you never argue with a doctor at the scene of an emergency –never.” You'd lose your job.” Hall said. “So I took the resuscitator off” and began to give her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation while the doctor gave her CPR.” As Her vital signs deteriorated, the doctor opened his bag and pulled out a syringe with a heart needle affixed to it. He filled the syringe from a pharmaceutical bottle of adrenaline. The doctor then attempted to inject the stimulant into her heart in an attempt to revive her. “ he did it at an incorrect angle,” according to Hall, “ the needle hit a rib. Instead of backing it out. He just leaned on it.” Hall stated that he believed Marilyn Monroe Expired at that moment,” Placing the stethoscope on her chest, the doctor couldn't find a heartbeat, and according to Hall, he said “You can leave, I'm going to pronounce her dead.” While James Hall was writing his report a man in a jumpsuit was trying to calm down the Hysterical woman, who was repeatedly sobbing, “ She's dead! She’s dead!” Hall noticed that a police officer arrived and spoke to the man in the Jumpsuit. Hall later identified the hysterical woman as "PAT NEWCOMB” The man in the jumpsuit as “PETER LAWFORD” The doctor as “RALPH GREENSON” and the police officer as sergeant Marvin Iannone. {In 1992 James Hall underwent a series of a polygraph tests conducted by Don Fraser of Arcadia, California, a state-Licensed polygraph examiner who majored in police science at the University of South California.} Fraser states: " There's no question that James Hall is telling the truth. His story regarding the scene and circumstances of Miss Monroe's death is absolutely true. He passed every question in several exhaustive polygraph examinations." |
